Chevrolet Montana pickup has always been very compact and “light”. It is worth mentioning that the first-generation model was generally built on the basis of the Opel Corsa. But times are changing!
Today we meet the Chevrolet Montana pickup truck of the third generation, which has become significantly larger than its predecessors. From now on, the car has a total length of 4.72 meters and – what is important! – for the first time, Chevrolet Montana uses a comfortable 2-row cabin.
At the same time, the new Chevrolet Montana pickup still remained very compact and “light” by the standards of the Chevrolet company. For example, this car has only front-wheel drive (full is not provided at all), and a small 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine with 133 “horses” of power is installed under the hood. It is paired with a 6-speed mechanical or automatic transmission depending on the car configuration.
Also, depending on the configuration, the equipment changes: in the cabin you can see an 8-inch display and climate control, a JBL audio system, and artificial leather seats. And for the open body, various organizers and protective covering are offered.
Currently, the Chevrolet Montana car is presented only in the maximum LTZ and Premier configurations, so the initial cost is not small – about $26 thousand. Over time, more affordable options are expected to appear. The start of sales is scheduled for the beginning of next year. The production of the car will take place in Brazil, which is the main sales market for Chevrolet Montana. Although the appearance of the car in other countries is not excluded later.
