Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many regions have been affected. Currently, many cities and towns need help. Among other things, there is a need for technical support. At the initiative of the European Commission and the DIGITALEUROPE trade association, as well as with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, a platform for collecting gadgets was created – Laptops for Ukraine.

Thanks to this platform, all concerned European business representatives, philanthropists and citizens can donate gadgets to Ukraine. These can be laptops, tablets, smartphones, power banks, etc.:

“Currently there is a need for more than 255 thousand different gadgets. Every day the requests grow and the challenges become even more difficult. The Laptops for Ukraine project will help to establish a connection between Europeans and Ukrainians in order to provide gadgets to schools, hospitals and state administrations in the war-affected regions of Ukraine,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation said in a statement.

The European Commission and the trade association DIGITALEUROPE will undertake the collection of the equipment, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine will coordinate the transfer in accordance with the requests of other state institutions.
