The updated Honda Accord sedan will debut in the US – the first photos and specifications have been released. And what do we see?

First, a significant change in design: the radiator grille is installed vertically, the headlights and lanterns are stretched in width, the hood is stretched horizontally. In general, the design of the Honda Accord now resembles the new generations of the Honda Civic and Honda Pilot. Secondly, the car has grown again in size – from now on, the total length reaches 4.97 meters with a 2.83-meter base. Depending on the selected version, the new sedan will receive 17- or 19-inch wheels.

By the way, one of two gasoline engines can be installed under this elongated hood. It could be a 1.5-liter 192-horsepower “turbo” with VTEC technology and paired with a CVT transmission or a 2-liter hybrid with a capacity of 204 “horses”. Unfortunately, the more powerful 252-horsepower version is no longer offered. Here it is: the new sedan Honda Accord increased in size, but lost the most powerful version.

But what else did it gain, except in size? The front panel received a horizontal line connecting the ventilation deflectors. A 7-inch or even a 12.3-inch display can be installed in the center, depending on the version. The instrument cluster is based on a 10.2-inch monitor. And especially comfortable seats with body stabilizing technology are offered for the driver and front passenger.

Sales of the new Honda Accord in the United States will start soon, at the very beginning of 2023.
