So it happened: the electric crossover Volvo EX90 debuted, which is a new flagship and sets the direction of development for the company for years to come. What is it about?

First, about the design. The Volvo EX90 crossover shows a new style for future Volvo models: a sleek closed “nose”, pointed T-shaped headlights, split taillights, hidden aerodynamic door handles.

Secondly, about technologies. The Volvo EX90 crossover is built on a modern platform, which provides for the installation of a huge 111 kWh battery (maximum mileage – up to 600 km) and two electric motors for the implementation of all-wheel drive. Depending on the selected version, the total power of the Volvo EX90 can be 300 kW (408 hp) or even 380 kW (517 hp) and 910 Nm of torque.

Thirdly, traditionally for Volvo, a lot of attention is paid to the comfort of the interior. Inside the Volvo EX90 electric car, there are seven seats for people, a 14.5-inch display with Google technologies is installed in the center of the front panel, and high-quality materials are used in the decoration.

Another feature of the Volvo EX90 is the readiness of the electric car for a high level of autonomy (Level 3) – the necessary radars and sensors are already installed, the “software” will be added in the near future. And in general: the Volvo EX90 electric crossover is a big hint of the future. After all, the company promises that from 2030 all new Volvo models will be electric only.
