The compact electric car FIAT 500e has recently changed generation – it has become larger and more powerful, received a modern design (albeit in retro style), significantly increased the mileage. And now it is also preparing to add to the list of available versions one very interesting option – a “charged” FIAT 500e Abarth. AUTOCAR tells about it, demonstrating spy photos of the prototype of the new electric vehicle on tests.
It is expected that the electric car FIAT 500e Abarth (or simply Abarth 500 EV) will receive a modified front bumper, rear spoiler, massive wheels. Moreover, the Abarth logo should appear – because now this name is trying to position as a separate brand, and not just a designation of a charged version of an existing model. Therefore, there are possible variants of the name of the novelty: not just FIAT 500e Abarth, but Abarth 500 EV.
However, all the details will become clear later. As well as the power and dynamic qualities of the novelty. It is expected to improve the dynamics of 0-100 km/h to about 7 seconds (the usual FIAT 500e now has about 9 seconds) and an increase in top speed to 160 km/h (the usual FIAT 500e now has 150 km/h) – we will be able to see these indicators already in 2023, when this small “hot” electric car is expected to debut.
