The closer to the release of a new smartphone, the more details about it become known. The Samsung Galaxy S23 line is no exception, as these models are one of the most popular Android smartphones.

It was previously reported that new flagships from Samsung will receive minimal visual changes which will mostly concern camera blocks. So far, there have been no new information leaks.

But it became known when the launch of the new line is planned. The Samsung Galaxy S23 should appear in early February next year, in the first week of the month. And it will not be an online event, but a traditional presentation that will be held in San Francisco. The last time such an event took place was in 2020, just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the Samsung Galaxy S20 and the foldable Galaxy Flip model were presented.

Last year, S22 was presented on February 9, and sales started on February 25. A similar launch scheme is planned for the next line.

Another interesting point with the company’s new flagships are processors. According to some data, the company may refuse to use its own Exinos processors due to certain failures in stability and performance. Therefore, not only the American versions will receive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but also models for other regions.

As noticed by GSMArena, the head of finance of Qualcomm Akash Palkhiwala said that the share of the company’s processors for the S23 models will increase to “global”, and not 75%, as in the current line.

Therefore, you can almost certainly expect only models from Qualcomm, and at least for a while forget about comparing Samsung flagships with different processors.
