As we wrote back on at the beginning of the year, Google began testing the beta version of the Google Play Games on PC service — initially it was only available in three countries, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan. And now the company expanded the availability of the service to eight more countries: the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.

As of now, only 85 games are available on Google Play Games on PC, but Google continues to add to the catalog of the service. It already supports progress synchronization, so users are free to continue their gaming session on another platform.

Arjun Dayal, director of Google Play Games, promises that his team will add new functionality until the service reaches release, and will take into account feedback from both game developers and players.
