Porsche is ready to offer a new special version of the Style Edition for models of the 718 series with “roadster” and “coupe” bodies. As is usually the case, only a few details have been added, but they are what makes the cars special.
For example, the Porsche 718 Boxster Style Edition in the photos below is presented in the Rubi Star Neo color, which is like a new incarnation of the Rubi Star color, which was first used for the Porsche 964 Carrera RS. In addition, the Porsche 718 Boxster Style Edition is distinguished by 20-inch wheels and branded decals on the body.
And it is also distinguished by an extended configuration: a sports exhaust system, PDLS headlights, a rearview camera, dual-zone climate control. In the interior, you can see seats with leather trim and logos on the headrests. Also floor mats with Chalk stitching, a heated steering wheel and illuminated metal door handles are used.
In addition to the Boxster roadster, a similar performance is offered for the Porsche 718 Cayman Style Edition coupe: large wheels, stickers, improved equipment. It is worth noting that both cars are equipped with a 2-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 300 “horses”. In the presence of a 6-speed mechanical transmission, acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds, but in the version with a PDK transmission, this indicator is even reduced to 4.5 seconds. Not bad for a 4-cylinder “turbo”!
The cars will first be offered for the European market, and will eventually come to the US – in any case, we are talking about the beginning of 2023.
