One of the most desirable features of the Spotify music service among its users remains Hi-Fi support, not just 320 kbps. At the beginning of 2021, the company announced that it was working on Lossless quality, but currently there is still no such option.

According to 9to5Mac, the media was contacted by a reader who canceled his Spotify subscription after 10 years of using the service and went to Apple Music. He received an email with a small survey that asked, among other things, if he would be willing to come back in 30 days for new opportunities at Spotify.

There you could also find details about the new Platinum plan, which includes Hi-Fi support, “studio sound”, “headphone tuner”, limited advertising in podcasts, Library Pro, Playlist Pro and Audio Insights.

The indicated cost of such a subscription is $19.99 per month.

Spotify may soon have a premium plan with Hi-Fi and other "goodies"

It is worth noting that the price of this tariff coincides with the most expensive subscription option in Tidal — HiFi Plus. But Tidal also offers a cheaper HiFi plan at $9.99 per month, which in turn aligns with Apple Music, where Loseless is available in both individual and family subscriptions.
