Audi is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the TT model: the first production version of the coupe appeared in 1998. Also, for the 2023 model year, the company has prepared a special limited edition of this compact sports car – meet the Audi TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition, which will be produced in only 100 copies for Europe!
As you can easily guess from the name, the car is built on the basis of the most powerful version of the Audi TT RS, which hides a 2.5-liter gasoline 5-cylinder “turbo” with a capacity of 400 hp under the hood and with a torque of 480 Nm. The engine is partnered with a 7-speed S tronic transmission and four-wheel drive. Also, the special version of the Audi TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition is not distinguished by technology. However, it has a special design!
First, the car is painted in a dark gray color from the palette of RS models and has black glossy color of decorative parts. Secondly, the Audi TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition is decorated with special 20-inch wheels in the style of the first Audi TTs. Thirdly, the special version received a complete aerodynamic package: spoilers, fairings, and anti-wing.
And inside there are certain differences. Sports seats are decorated with yellow stitching, and a yellow “zero” mark also appeared on the steering wheel. In addition, the words “Iconic Edition” are embroidered on the backs of the seats, and the number of a specific copy of the car is indicated on the plates – remember, there will be only a hundred of them.
An interesting and remarkable car: truly a “gift to yourself” and a demonstration of the path that the Audi TT model has covered in its 25 years of existence. However, here is a difficult question – will there be a place for such emotional cars in the electric future?
