A 17-year-old hacker, who leaked the gameplay of GTA 6, was arrested in Great Britain

The City of London Police announced that they have arrested a 17-year-old young man who is responsible for the hacking of Rockstar studio servers, and a large-scale leak of video that demonstrates test gameplay of GTA 6.

The arrest took place on September 22 in Oxfordshire. The young man, who is accused of hacking Rockstar, was previously involved in attacks on Uber, Microsoft, and NVIDIA and was already detained earlier this year. The teenager is associated with the hacker group Lapsus$. Additional arrests are expected.

The young computer genius faces two charges of “computer misuse” (this UK Act 1990 includes unauthorized access to information) and two charges of breaching bail conditions. But apparently the judges will take into account the age of the violator and he, most likely, will avoid severe punishment. On the other hand, the FBI has questions for him.
