During the D23 presentation, the Disney studio showed the first teaser of the third season of the fantasy series The Mandalorian, which will be released on the Disney+ streaming platform in February 2023.

The series received favorable reviews from viewers, who indicated that the plot and atmosphere of The Mandalorian is more in line with the universe of Star Wars than the last full-length trilogy. Its second season aired in 2020, so in total, fans will have been waiting two years for the continuation. Judging by the visual part of the teaser, the studio did not waste this time, and the popularity of the show clearly increased its budget.

The third season of the series The Mandalorian will bring familiar characters back to the audience: the Mandalorian himself played by Pedro Pascal, who protects little Grogu, as well as other characters who appeared in the first two seasons: Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Emily Swallow as Armorer and Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto.

Before watching the third season of The Mandalorian, it is worth watching the spin-off The Book of Boba Fett, because their plots are connected.

In addition to The Mandalorian, which is scheduled for next year, this year Disney+ will also release new series in the Star Wars universe. At D23, the studio showed the final trailer of the prequel to the film Rogue One – Andor, which will be released on September 21.

And also the animated series Tales Of The Jedi, made in the style and with the main characters of another animation The Clone Wars. Its premiere is scheduled for October 26.
