The Czech Republic decided to differ from its neighbors and buy Ukrainians not Bayraktar TB2, and the tank! This is reported by the Polish media Defence24.pl.

The promotion was introduced by representatives of the Czech project “Gift for Putin”, which since May of this year has collected more than €7 million for weapons for Ukraine.

This time, the organizers plan to collect more than €1.22 million and buy a T-72 tank for the Armed Forces. It is a Czech modification of the T-72M4CZ with improved protection and modern sights. Before starting the fundraising, the organizers consulted with the Ukrainian military and the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic. Yes, one tank may not make a difference at the front, but attention and the fact they remember about Ukraine is important here.

Czech Republic is collecting money for a tank for Ukraine

All collected funds are deposited into the account of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic and will be spent on the purchase of Czech-made military products. The process takes place with the participation of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic.

The “Gift for Putin” project was created by the Czech businessman Dalibor Dědek, in June he handed over two interesting Bivoj reconnaissance UAVs to the Ukrainian military.

Little Czechia is a true friend of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the hot phase of the war, the Czech Republic has handed over T-72М tanks, 152-mm DANA self-propelled gun and multiple RM-70 rocket launchers, a squadron of Mi-24 attack helicopters and a lot of other military aid. Thank you, friends!
