Rumors about a new game in the Assassin’s Creed series have been circulating since February, and now, after several leaks, Ubisoft finally announced its name and the date of the project presentation. The game, which was named Assassin’s Creed Mirage, will be presented on September 10, 2022.

Thanks to the sources, it is known that the events of the game will take place in Baghdad during the Abbasid Caliphate, and the main character of the game will be Basim Ibn Ishaq, who we have already seen as a secondary character in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It is even known that the game will receive a fabulous DLC based on “One Thousand and One Nights” called “Quest of Forty Thieves”.

The authors of Assassin’s Creed Mirage were inspired by the classic first part of Assassin’s Creed and maybe a little Prince of Persia, which inspired the creators of the first Assassin’s Creed. They say that the new game will remove most of the role-playing elements of the last three parts of the series and return the emphasis to stealth. In addition, the game world will become smaller, leveling, the choice of answer options in dialogues and even the ability to choose the gender of the character will disappear, which is unfortunate, but logical, considering that the character was already in the game universe.

As already mentioned, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be officially presented as part of the Ubisoft Forward event on September 10, 2022. But the game will probably be released in 2023, sometime in March-May. Well, let’s see, we won’t have to wait long.

And finally, the main art in hi-res quality, maybe someone needs it.
