A month ago, Logitech announced Logitech G Gaming Handheld – a portable game console for cloud gaming. At that time, there were almost no details, except for the very fact of its development together with Tencent Games. And now, thanks to the leak, we have the opportunity to see what the new console will look like and what interface it will have. The photos in the original tweet have already been removed as infringing copyright, but “the Internet remembers everything.”

As you can see, the Logitech G Gaming Handheld has no fundamental differences from the renders that appeared in the subreddit r/SteamDeck half a year ago. The design of the Logitech console is very reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch with traditional controls (analog sticks, D-Pad, triggers, ABXY buttons), and the icons on the home screen confirm the cloud gaming support that the company promised in its announcement.

You can also understand from the photo that the Logitech G Gaming Handheld runs on Android, which is clearly hinted at by the “tile” of the Google Play store. So it’s not a competitor to the “PC” Steam Deck running on Linux. Judging by the icons, cloud gaming is represented by Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce Now and Steam Link services. Another Xbox icon may belong to another service – Xbox Remote Play. Chrome and YouTube are also on the screen – so, in addition to games, the new console will also run regular applications.

Currently, it is still unknown when and at what price the Logitech G Gaming Handheld will be available for sale, but the company has already launched official page where you can subscribe to the newsletter.
