Citroen C5 Aircross received a more modern design and now has a charged plug-in hybrid version. The car underwent planned modernization at the beginning of this year. The changes include both an updated front end and a new light signature of the rear lights, which have a three-dimensional effect. And so that the interior of the new Citroen C5 Aircross corresponds to the updated appearance, it received a 10-inch touch display: the new large screen should improve ergonomics thanks to direct access to the controls of the “climate” system and higher clarity of the information image. The deflectors on the front panel are now located under the screen and they have received a new, horizontal design.
The Citroen brand remains committed to its traditions in terms of the best comfort in the cabin, which is why the new Citroen C5 Aircross is equipped with a new generation of Citroën Advanced Comfort seats. This is a specially designed seat that uses high-density foam and an additional 15mm foam layer. The manufacturer claims that thanks to the special foam that does not deform over time, the seats retain their qualities for a long time. Additional comfort for the driver and front passenger is provided by heating and massage functions.
The updated Citroen C5 Aircross crossover offers buyers a choice of several versions at once. First, the diesel engines: 1.5 BlueHDi (130 hp and 300 Nm) or 2-liter BlueHDi (180 hp and 400 Nm), both are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Secondly, the updated car can now offer buyers a plug-in 1.6 PHEV 225 automatic transmission-8 hybrid version: the combination of a 180-horsepower PureTech gasoline engine with an EAT8 automatic transmission and an 81 kW (110 hp) electric motor provides a total of 225 “horses”.
In addition, the Citroen C5 Aircross crossover offers a choice of two configurations – FEEL PACK or SHINE PACK – with the possibility of ordering additional options for them. The price of the Citroen C5 Aircross car starts from UAH 1,175,700 (1.5 BlueHDi 130 S&S automatic transmission-8 FEEL PACK).
