Recently, the first images of the new Toyota bZ3 electric sedan, which will be part of the Toyota bZ family (“beyond zero” refers to the absence of exhaust), have appeared. The Toyota bZ3 electric car has already been seen before, but only in a camouflaged form. But now we can see the novelties in full.
So what is the Toyota bZ3? This is an electric sedan with the dimensions of a Toyota Corolla (although the wheelbase here is as much as 2.88 m), which is built on the company’s e-TNGA platform. At the same time, the Chinese company BYD acted as Toyota’s partner, which will supply LiFeP batteries and electric motors: two versions are promised – with a capacity of 135 kW (184 “horses”) or 180 kW (245 “horses”). Production of the Toyota bZ3 electric car will probably also be launched in China.
It is not yet known whether the Toyota bZ3 electric sedan will enter the global market or remain a local model. However, Toyota’s general plans for the development of the bZ line are known – at a minimum, we will eventually expect a large crossover and a compact electric car.
