Atlas Fallen: an open-world action/RPG from Deck13 Interactive
Atlas Fallen is a new action/RPG from the German studio Deck13 Interactive, known for such games as Ankh, Lords of the Fallen and The Surge. And the trailer with which this game was announced at Gamescom 2022 really attracts attention.
Unlike the studio’s previous games The Surge and The Surge 2, the new action/RPG is more similar not to Dark Souls, but to games like God of War or Horizon. But those who like tougher gameplay will find it at the highest difficulty level.
Atlas Fallen is a story-driven single-player or co-op game set in a semi-open, sand-covered world. Even magic and weapons in this world depend on sand. The authors promise players a unique fantasy world, the opportunity to hunt legendary creatures, an interesting story, and weapons that can change.
Atlas Fallen is scheduled for release on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2023. The game is published by Focus Entertainment (formerly Focus Home Interactive), which owns Deck13 Interactive as of July 2020.
