Developers of Barcelona Taxi Driver Simulator Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator, Polish studio Simteract, have decided that the game will not be released in Early Access at the end of 2022, but instead will be released immediately in version 1.0 in 2023.
The authors of Taxi Life promise to recreate all of Barcelona in the game on a scale of 1:1. More than 200 real attractions in this attractive city for tourists: buildings, monuments, parks, and so on. Daily life in the city – rush hour, passers-by, various road adventures. On the streets of Barcelona, Taxi Life has real traffic rules that must be followed.
You will have to live the daily life of a taxi driver: look for orders, explore the streets of the city, even communicate with passengers. And also repair the car in case of accidents and customize it.
To implement realistic traffic in the game, the authors of Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator use their own software Traffic AI that they are willing to license to other developers. And the software City Generator, which is also offered for licensing, was responsible for creating a large city .
Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X now in 2023. Another game from Simteract, a train driver and owner simulator Train Life: A Railway Simulator is now in Early Access at Steam and Epic Games Store.
