ASUS announces the appearance in Ukraine of the ROG x EVANGELION product line, created in collaboration with the cult Japanese anime Evangelion.
All devices are distinguished by a special external design and thematic art. As the company notes, “users who assemble their own PCs will be able to create a top-of-the-line system with components in the color style of the flagship EVA-01 mech and the NERV command center.”
The ROG x EVANGELION series includes:
The ROG Maximus Z690 Hero EVA Edition motherboard in classic EVA-01 purple and green colors. This is a premium board with a powerful power system, in which the area above the interface connectors is covered by a backlit panel: it can be switched between the normal mode of the EVA-01 and the “berserker” mode.
EVA Edition versions of the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards with similar colors and art on the front and back panels.
The liquid cooling system of the ROG Ryujin II 360 EVA Edition covered by a 3.5-inch screen that displays system parameters and GIF animation. Three ARGB fans in NERV style are placed on the main radiator.
The ROG THOR 1000W Platinum II EVA Edition power supply, which received an appearance inspired by the NERV command center.
The ROG Strix Helios EVA Edition case, a mid-tower gaming case with three panels of tempered glass, an aluminum chassis, and built-in dynamic RGB lighting.
The ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 EVA Edition router, a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 standard router; its antennae are styled after the shoulder plates of the EVA-01, and the design of the control attachment is intended to resemble the visible protective barrier of the A.T. Field.
The ROG Strix Arion EVA Edition storage case, which has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×1 connection. Inside the aluminum case, there are thermal pads for heat dissipation. The SSD can be installed without using a screwdriver.
