The Air Raid Alert app has been updated to version 4.0 and will warn of chemical and radiation hazards. The update is already available for iOS, Android and Huawei users.
Air Raid Alert version 4.0 notifies the start and end of five types of alarms:
- Air raid alert;
- Artillery shelling;
- Street fights;
- Chemical hazard;
- Radiation hazard.
Each type of alarm has its own notifications. In addition to sound signals, the application also sends text messages with recommendations for actions, depending on the type of threat. If several alarms are recorded in a city or region, notifications will be sent sequentially.
Information about all types of hazards is transmitted by responsible operators in the regional administrations of Ukraine. Coordination of alarms is provided by emergency services.
In version 4.0, the official alert map has been moved to a separate menu for convenience. To track alerts throughout Ukraine, you need to go to the “Map” menu on the main page of the application. In addition, a web version of the map is available via the link.
In version 4.0, the “Useful” section was also updated. A link to the bot for informing about the movement of occupiers еEnemy and the housing search site Help were added.
We will remind that the Air Raid Alert application, developed by Ajax Systems together with the IT company Stfalcon and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, was downloaded more than 11 million times.
