After all, how many fans of American pickup trucks are there? If you look at the roads in Ukraine, there are quite a few! Although, of course, we all know in what condition most of these giant pickup trucks usually arrive in our country. That, however, does not reject the enormous amount of work performed by the specialists of the Chevrolet company when creating the new Colorado generation. First of all, this is a successful design: here you can immediately see the branded details of Chevrolet and the powerful dynamics of the new model!
By the way, the words “power” and “dynamism” are quite suitable for describing the new Chevrolet Colorado. After all, the car received a 2.7-liter turbo engine, which offers greater efficiency than the previous 3.6-liter V6. The faithful partner of the new engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is a surprisingly modern solution for a pickup truck.
And the equipment of the car is also modern. Forget that a pickup is a simple “workhorse”. After all, in the interior of the new Chevrolet Colorado, you can find an 11.3-inch touchscreen display and an 8-inch instrument panel screen (according to the manufacturer – the first in the class), and the list of equipment includes many active safety systems.
It is worth noting that the new Chevrolet Colorado pickup debuted in several versions at once. And the most extreme option is the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 modification: special styling, increased ground clearance, and offroad wheels. And the main difference is the special Multimatic DSSV suspension, which allows off-road braking.
However, as it often happens in American companies, the car is demonstrated much earlier than the official start of sales. So the new Chevrolet Colorado pickup will have to wait. The start of its sales should take place only in the first half of 2023. Shall we wait or not?
