It’s been 10 years since the app store for the Android mobile operating system changed its name. Before that, it was called Android Market, and now it is known to everyone as Google Play.

The statistics are impressive: the store is used by 2.5 billion people per month from 190 countries around the world. It also has two million developers. The store currently works on Android smartphones and tablets, Wear OS smartwatches, Android and Google TV devices, Chromebooks, and even cars on the Android Automotive platform.

The company decided to celebrate this with a new logo and increased bonuses for users. The updated logo repeats the concept of the previous one while preserving the corporate colors.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Google Play, the store changed its logo and accordingly increases bonuses (not in Ukraine)

In addition to the new logo, Google found an additional way to celebrate the anniversary of the Google Store. Internal bonuses of the Google Play Points loyalty program can increase by 10 times. They are usually calculated as 1 point per $1.

Unfortunately, this program does not work in Ukraine. But if you are reading us from a country where Google Play Points can still be obtained, then to participate in the program you need to follow this link. Received bonuses can be used both in the store itself and in some applications. You can learn more about the operation of the loyalty program here.
