Recently presented Hyundai Ioniq 6 shocked the world with its exterior design and original interior. However, there was little information about the technical equipment. In general, it was only clear that the car was built on the E-GMP platform, which promised a different type of drive and a large battery. And now the details have become known.
So, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric car can be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 53 or 77.4 kWh – in the latter case, the maximum mileage reaches up to 610 km (WLTP). Not only the large battery, but also the good aerodynamics of the streamlined body (Cd 0.21) help to increase the mileage. By the way, it is quite large: length 4.855 m, width 1.88 m, height 1.495 m. At the same time, the wheelbase of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric car is 2.95 m.
It is also now known that there will be versions with rear or all-wheel drive. Moreover, the most powerful version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 offers 239 kW (325 hp) and 605 Nm is enough to accelerate to “hundreds” in just 5.1 seconds. In addition, a system of “fine” settings for the operation of the electric drive is provided.
