Clarification: “for the Chinese people.” After all, the coupe-like crossover is a local model, produced for the Chinese market at the local SAIC plant since 2019. The car is distinguished by its athletic design and considerable dimensions: the total length exceeds 4.9 m, the wheelbase reaches 2.98 m.
These dimensions accommodate a spacious interior and powerful engines: at least a 2-liter gasoline “turbo” (186-220 hp) or even an exotic 2.5-liter VR6, which promises almost 300 “horses” of power. And then the 7-speed DSG transmission and the 4Motion all-wheel drive system are connected. This technique has already been known for the Volkswagen Teramont X since the debut of the model.
But what has been updated is the details. For example, the LED headlights have completely changed, the design of the lights on the tailgate has been updated. In addition, there are new side “skirts” and a modified front bumper for the R-Line version, etc.
In a few months, the updated Volkswagen Teramont X will start in China. However, probably many Ukrainians would also like to see it: a large car, a brutal design, a well-known brand, powerful engines.
