The General Staff of the Armed Forces together with the Ministry of Digital and the UNITED 24 platform is gathering an army of drones. At the first stage, they plan to purchase 200 drones for reconnaissance. This was reported by reported by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“We formed a systemic vision to cover the entire front line with a width of about 2,470 km with drones. They will make it possible to monitor the actions of the enemy, change military strategies and, in the future, save as many military lives as possible,” the minister said.
To begin with, they plan to purchase 200 drones that can fly for up to 24 hours at a distance of 160 km and at the same time remain almost invisible to the enemy. Fundraising for drones is already open on the UNITED24 platform.
You can join in two ways:
- Make a donation using the link on the UNITED24. The funds will go to the account of the Ministry of Defense.
- Give your drone to the Armed Forces. To do this, you should bring it to the Nova Poshta office and tell that the drone is being transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of the Drone Army. Workers will direct the drone to its destination.
According to Fedorov, a comprehensive program with UNITED24 will allow not only the purchase of drones, but also their repair, prompt replacement, and training of pilots.
Oleh Horohovskyi and Monobank have already joined the fundraising. Together with their clients, they collected over 64 million hryvnias in a few days. These funds are enough for two Warmate unmanned aerial systems.
