Hyundai Venue is one of the most compact and affordable crossovers in the company’s line: about 4 meters long, front-wheel drive, small engines. However, everything is compensated by the attractive price and appearance in the style of an SUV.
So the car easily finds new buyers in different countries. For example, in India, which has become one of the key markets for the model thanks to the local factory. Not surprisingly, the upgrade of the Hyundai Venue began in India.
What’s new? First of all – appearance. From now on, the radiator grille became larger, and its black glossy corners combined daytime running lights. The front bumper has also changed, which is now made in more horizontal forms. Usually, this is where the changes end. But in the case of the Hyundai Venue, this compact SUV has also received significant changes to the rear: new headlights and the red line that connects them.
In addition, the interior was updated. First of all, it is worth noting the new steering wheel in the style of “older” Hyundai models seems to add solidity. In addition, there is a new multimedia system and digital dashboard – quite simple, but better than nothing.
What has not changed at all is the technical part: petrol 1- or 1.2-liter engines, an alternative in the form of a 1.5-liter turbodiesel, mechanical or automatic gearbox, only front-wheel drive. Unfortunately, the status of a compact and inexpensive car is unlikely to allow to drastically improve the design.
However, given the cost of $10 thousand (which is how much the updated Hyundai Venue in India should cost), there is no doubt that it will continue to support successful car sales. Especially since after India, an updated Hyundai Venue SUV will be offered in other markets.
