To help Ukrainian entrepreneurs support and grow their business during the war, Google in March has announced the creation of the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund of $ 5 million. These funds will be allocated during 2022 in the form of cash grants without equity participation. Selected startups based in Ukraine will receive up to $ 100,000 in non-equity funding, as well as Google’s mentoring support, product support and Google Cloud Credits.

The first recipients of the Google Support Fund for Startups in Ukraine were:

  • CareTech Human: Fully automated plug-and-play solution for daily health checks and early detection of diseases.

  • Discoperi: A video surveillance system based on artificial intelligence , which collects traffic data to prevent car accidents and make roads safer.

  • Dots Platform: Cloud platform for food delivery “All-in-one”.

  • Elai.io: A text-to-video platform that allows users to create video content from text with virtual speakers.

  • Effy.ai: staff management software that enables leaders to create highly productive teams..

  • Handy.ai: An internal communication platform that offers employees a personal virtual assistant.

  • Lab24: Marketplace of digital medical laboratories that connects customers to available services.

  • Mindly: An online psychological care platform that offers patient care and automation of artificial intelligence-based clinical administration.

  • PRAVOSUD: A court cases analysis platform that allows lawyers to develop successful legal strategies.

  • pleso therapy: A mental health platform that effectively connects patients with psychologists.

  • Private Tech Network: The Venture Capital as a Service platform, driven by artificial intelligence, is designed to make fundraising faster and more efficient.

  • Releaf Paper: The world’s first manufacturer of paper products from fallen leaves.

  • Respeecher: High quality voice cloning system (voice conversion) for content authors.

  • Skyworker: An app for hiring that provides recruitment services in the field of technology.

  • VanOnGo: A platform for delivery to consumers based on artificial intelligence.

  • ZooZy: Universal mobile pet care app that manages all of your pet’s needs – food, training tips, healthcare and other essentials – on a single platform.

Startups are selected on the basis of criteria and interview assesment; Ukraine-based startups that meet the criteria can apply here. Although some companies may not be eligible for the Foundation, Google for Startups continues to offer other forms of support, which can be found on the website.
