The soap opera with the announcement of the next Call of Duty continues. This time Activision Blizzard has announced the release date of the new part. Which, we recall, will be the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019. Which, in turn, was a reboot of the Modern Warfare subseries, which started in 2007.

So now it has become known that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be released in the fall, October 28 which has become a tradition for this series (previous parts were usually released in the second half of October – first half of November).

The publisher also presented a new video in which … showed the artwork of the game. It has no current gameplay, only images of the characters that will appear in the new part – in particular, they are already well known to us Captain Price and Simon “Ghost” Riley.

Activision Blizzard plans to reveal the gameplay and other details a little later, possibly in early June. In the video you can see the inscription on the container J-8-22, which can be interpreted as June 8, 2022, i.e. just before the main announcements at the presentations of Summer Game Fest (June 9) and Xbox and Bethesda (June 12).
