Pottermore – Joan Rowling’s site about her magical worlds – has published free online e-books about Harry Potter in Ukrainian translation. The first three parts of the story are currently available on the site – four more will be available soon. The texts were provided by A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA, which translated and distributed Harry Potter in Ukraine.

“When the invasion of Ukraine began, our team was shocked by the impact it had on many people. We, like everyone else, wanted to provide at least some help. That’s why we’re trying to give free access to e-books about Harry Potter to all those affected by the war.

Previously, we did not publish digital publications in Ukrainian, so we had some difficulties. However, thanks to the ingenuity of our teams, as well as the kindness and support of the Ukrainian publishing house A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA, we managed to make these stories free for Ukrainian-speaking users,” Pottermore said.

You can read books online here. They are supported by most devices. Pottermore is now working with the charity Joan Rowling Lumos and others to help more people learn about reading Harry Potter in Ukrainian online.
