Demand for electric vehicles continues to grow in many areas, so manufacturers are actively expanding their range of models. In particular, Ford has introduced an all-electric version of one of the most popular commercial vans on the European market, called the E-Transit Custom.

The electric van received rechargeable batteries that provide a range of up to 380 kilometers. Moreover, the car can act as a source of energy – you can connect to tools, lights and other electrical appliances to it.

E-Transit Custom supports high-speed DC charging. Unfortunately, the company has not yet disclosed the detailed specifications of the car. Therefore, currently only the exterior of the van can be assessed, including all-LED optics.

We should find out more about the Ford E-Transit Custom this fall. It will compete with such models as Opel Vivaro-e, Citroen e-Dispatch, Peugeot e-Expert, Toyota Proace Electric and others. The company plans to start production of the van in the second half of 2023 at the plant in Turkey.
