According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, about 200 people involved in illegal armed groups have already been detained with the help of artificial intelligence systems. This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin on air of the All-Ukrainian Marathon.
The police use such systems at checkpoints and they give their results:

We are stepping up work at checkpoints using artificial intelligence systems. In particular, more than 2 million people have already been entered into the databases used by the police. All of them belong to either illegal armed groups, criminal groups, deserters, etc. Thanks to this base, about 200 people were detained in two weeks and handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine.

At the same time, Yenin reported a decline in crime over the past two months. He attributes this to an increase in security measures (the operation of checkpoints and the introduction of curfew), as well as a decrease in the population in some regions.

For example, the infliction of grievous bodily harm with fatal consequences has halved. Thefts decreased from 18.2 thousand to 4.4 thousand, which is four times less. The number of robberies decreased from 857 to 157 cases. And robberies have halved from 185 to 95.

Unfortunately, there was some bad news. Thus, the country is recording an increase in cases of illegal handling of weapons, illegal seizure of vehicles has doubled (about a thousand recorded cases).
