Razer x Lambda Tensorbook – a powerful Ubuntu laptop for artificial intelligence developers

Razer x Lambda Tensorbook is Razer’s first laptop with Ubuntu operating system, created in collaboration with Lambda, a company that develops machine learning software. The new model is a slightly improved version of the laptop Razer Blade 15 Advanced, which comes with Windows.

The Razer x Lambda Tensorbook starts at $3,500, the notebook is equipped with a 15.6-inch display with a frequency of 165 Hz and 1440p resolution, 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics, 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, SSD for 2 TB and batteries with a capacity of 80 Watt per hour.

For connection the laptop has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a UHS-III SD card reader, as well as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

Tensorbook comes with pre-installed drivers and machine learning tools, including PyTorch, Tensorflow, CUDA and cuDNN. Lambda says it already provides equipment to thousands of research teams, selling graphics processors, servers and workstations.
