The Ministry of Defense has launched an online platform zbroya.gov.ua, which collects information about all key state services and opportunities for manufacturers of weapons and military equipment in Ukraine. This is stated in a statement from the defense department.
The initiative was created as a single "entry point" for manufacturers, where they can find the government services, programs, and up-to-date information they need:
- preferential 5% lending up to UAH 500 million - for scaling up production, purchasing equipment, components, creating new developments and launching them into mass production;
- "Iron Polygon" – a service of affordable rapid testing of weapons and military equipment samples;
- "Components Library" – a protected database of manufacturers of components for weapons of various categories;
- "Made for Victory" - a grant program to support Ukrainian manufacturers of components for military equipment, aimed at localizing the production of components and reducing dependence on external suppliers;
- Brave1 grant program – to support startups, developers, and innovators working on defense tech solutions;
- booking of employees of critical enterprises.
In addition to services, manufacturers of weapons and military equipment can find educational opportunities on the platform to develop and scale their own businesses. The platform also contains relevant vacancies, in particular for veterans who want to join the defense industry.
In addition, the online platform will be supplemented with a regulatory framework for the defense industry and current news, and a leasing support program for the purchase of production facilities, machinery, and equipment will appear in the near future.
By the way, the Defense Procurement Agency recently expanded the list of drones available for order by the military in the pilot version of the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace. Now, in addition to FPV drones, bomber drones can be ordered through the system.
