The aggressor country is expanding the launch site for Shahed drones in the city of Navlya, Bryansk region, according to a report by the open-source intelligence channel Dnipro Osint.
"Expansion of the Shahed UAV launch point in the city of Navlya, Bryansk region. In new SAR satellite images prohibited for publication, we recorded 18 new structures that serve as a "garage" for the drone, as well as 2 stationary launchers," the message said.
According to Dnipro Osint , new facilities have been built a kilometer from the initial zone, where there is a road for UAV launches with AT, as well as three underground warehouses for combat units.
"The facility is located 75 km from the border," the intelligence channel said in a statement.
In early September, Andriy Yusov, a representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated that the enemy currently has the technical ability to produce up to 2,700 units of Shahed attack drones every month.
According to him, these drones are used by Russia in hundreds in combined attacks along with missiles, and such massive strikes create a serious burden on Ukrainian air and missile defense systems.
