At one of the Russian defense exhibitions, a new attack drone, the Klin, was presented, which has a shape similar to the Shahed, is equipped with artificial intelligence functions, and can stay in the air for over an hour.

According to the Telegram channel Sunflower, the device is capable of performing tasks in two modes: independently detecting and attacking targets at a distance of 120 km or more (provided a repeater is used) or acting as an "air minefield", remaining in the air for about 80 minutes.

Klin has a take-off weight of 13.5 kg, develops a speed of 108 to 300 km/h, has a fuselage length of 1.6 m and a wingspan of 1.9 m. Its maximum flight altitude reaches 2 km. The drone is equipped with an air-blast system, and its warhead weighing 5 kg can be cumulative or high-explosive.

According to Militarnyi, judging by the published images, the design of this drone uses 3D printing elements, in particular for the manufacture of the optical module. The aerodynamic scheme of the drone is similar to the Iranian Shahed - a delta-shaped "tailless", which at the same time contains elements of the "duck" scheme with front horizontal and partially vertical plumage.

It was recently reported that the Russians are testing their own interceptor drone, which resembles Ukrainian solutions – in particular, the Sting interceptor drone.
