Radar combat means are now available under the updated Army of Drones Bonus program. This is stated in a statement by the Defense Procurement Agency.
According to the agency, the military received the first electronic warfare equipment under the program.
"The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has concluded the first contracts with domestic manufacturers for the supply of these means. They can be ordered for E-points on the Brave1 Market, and the procurement process takes place through DOT-Chain Defence," the Defense Procurement Agency said in a statement.
The agency is currently working on attracting new manufacturers and suppliers of electronic warfare equipment. In particular, contracts have already been signed with Parasol and Contra-drone.
As you know, the new model of the "Army of Drones Bonus" program was launched in August and is based on the integration of IT systems Delta, DOT-Chain Defence and Brave1 Market. During this time, 95 units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have participated in it.
The program functions as follows:
- Military personnel receive points earned for destroying and defeating enemy targets and exchange them for the drones and equipment they need to perform combat missions – in the Brave1 Market, through authorization in DELTA.
- The procurement process is implemented by the AOZ through the DOT-Chain Defence digital system. It forms contracts with manufacturers and coordinates the direct delivery of drones and other equipment to units.
