On September 16–17, Lviv will host Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025, a major investment summit dedicated to defense technologies. This is stated in the event's press release.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Brave1 cluster. The event will bring together over 5,000 participants, including representatives of venture funds and investors from Ukraine, Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Asia, as well as technology users, developers, startups and defense companies.
The summit program includes presentations of solutions already used in the military sphere, including unmanned systems and technologies based on artificial intelligence, tested on the battlefield.
According to Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, Defense Tech Valley 2025 will be the largest summit that will bring together investors ready to invest in Ukrainian defense innovations.
The summit will also launch the Battle Proven competition for defense and dual-use startups. Ukrainian teams whose technologies are already used on the front or are planned for implementation within the year can apply. The competition will be held in three categories:
- Trail Blazers — pre-seeded team with promising solutions;
- Gamechangers — developments that are already working in combat conditions;
- Power Players are large companies that influence the course of the war.
Based on the selection results, 30 teams will present their projects to the largest community of specialized investors and compete for the prize fund.
