The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) of Ukraine has approved a new list of educational aids for the subject "Defense of Ukraine" in secondary education institutions. The list includes simulators for controlling FPV drones with computers, laser shooting simulators, tablets, and multimedia equipment.
Special attention is paid to first aid training equipment, which will include resuscitation dummies, tourniquets, hemostatic devices, tactical medicine kits, and trauma training simulators. In addition, students will be provided with updated helmets, body armor, certified gas masks, and chemical protection equipment.
The technical equipment also includes drones for practice, radio stations, and elements of a training track. The Ministry of Education and Science notes that the update will help students develop first aid skills, critical thinking, readiness to act in emergency situations, and resistance to disinformation.
The Ministry recalled that in 2024, the "Defense of Ukraine" training course was significantly reformed - instead of theoretical drills, schoolchildren undergo intensive training lasting 6–8 hours every month in specially equipped centers.
By the way, recently the National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine (NAUDI) announced the beginning of cooperation with the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". The goal of the partnership will be to strengthen the connection between education, science and the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine.
