The Ukrainian Defense Forces probably struck two Russian radar stations on the night of September 4. This is reported by Militarnyi.
It is noted that the first is the RLK-1 "Navigation of the South" — a radar complex that is part of the infrastructure of the "Aeronavigation of the South" branch in Rostov-on-Don. The second is located on the territory of the former military unit 65312. This unit, together with the military town, was the base of the 1244th anti-aircraft missile regiment, which in the 1990s was armed with S-300PS complexes. A complex similar to the RLK-1 is located on the territory of the unit.
NASA footage recorded fires there, which may indicate that targets were hit.
According to the publication, it is RLK-1 that is responsible for organizing flights in southern Russia, in particular, it provides support for aircraft, their guidance and coordination of air routes. This is one of the enemy's strategic targets.
The other day it became known that the "Prymary" unit carried out another attack on Russian air defense facilities in Crimea, during which five technical targets were hit: the "Utyos-T" radar; the RT-70 radio telescope; the "GLONASS" complex in the dome; the MR-10M1 "Mys" M1 radar; the 96L6-AP radar from the S-400 air defense system.
