Ukrainian defense tech company Frontline has successfully integrated the "Burya" grenade launcher turret for the Mk-19 automatic grenade launcher with the Combat Gereon combat NRC from the German developer of autonomous military ground systems ARX Robotics. This was reported by the Frontline press service.

The Combat Gereon combat unmanned ground complex is designed according to the Unmanned First Contact concept, within which it performs the most dangerous tasks instead of the military and reduces risks for soldiers in combat zones.

Frontline noted that the "Burya" grenade launcher turret adds combat capabilities to the ground robot. Both products form a single combat module, ready for use on the battlefield.

The Ukrainian company noted that the combat module based on the Combat Gereon unmanned complex and the "Burya" grenade launcher module can be used to perform the most dangerous tasks, in particular, fire support for infantry.

"The integration of the Combat Gereon unmanned ground complex and the Burya grenade launcher turret is already in service with combat units," Frontline added.

Let us remind you that the "Burya" grenade launcher turret has been in service with military units since the beginning of 2025 and is already being mass-produced.

Earlier it was reported that Frontline, in cooperation with the Estonian robotics manufacturer Milrem Robotics, successfully integrated the "Burya" grenade launcher turret for the 40 mm Mk-19 grenade launcher with the THeMIS ground-based unmanned system. Frontline noted that THeMIS became the first unmanned ground-based system in its class that the Armed Forces of Ukraine used to perform combat missions.
