At the international defense exhibition MSPO 2025 in Kielce, Poland, a delegation of Taiwan's defense industry signed memorandums of understanding with Polish and Ukrainian partners in the field of unmanned technologies, Taiwan News reports. The agreements provide a basis for trilateral technology exchange and security cooperation.

The Taiwanese delegation included representatives from nearly 20 defense companies, all participating for the first time at the exhibition. On the eve of the signing, on September 2, the Taiwanese participants held a networking event that attracted the attention of drone manufacturers from Poland, Ukraine, and Lithuania.

The documents were signed on behalf of Taiwan by Thunder Tiger and Taiwan Excellence Drone Overseas Business Alliance. The European signatories were Bartholomew Dobos, founder of the Taiwan-Polish Chamber of Commerce, and Dmytro Dymyd, representative of the Lviv technocluster IRON.

Taiwan's representative to Poland, Liu Yongjian, attended the ceremony and noted that drone cooperation is important for strengthening defense partnerships. He stressed that Taiwan will continue to work with democratic countries that share common values to maintain peace.

It was previously reported that Ukraine and the Philippines are planning to jointly produce drones.
