The Ukrainian company "Ukrspetsconsulting" said that its new EW station "Veres-2" of directed action has already been delivered to a number of brigades of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by Defence Express.
"This complex is an effective means of countering Mavik and Autel-type UAVs carrying warheads. The capabilities of Veres-2 exceed the indicators of other available directional means of action, with the same operating frequency ranges. Veres-2 performs the task of disrupting the flight missions of enemy UAVs to a depth of 1,000 to 2,000 meters," one of the brigades noted.
The Veres-2 electronic warfare station, in particular, is used on the Zaporizhia and Pokrov directions.
The company "Ukrspetsconsulting" reported that "Veres-2" is a small-sized solution created using its own software and a number of modules of its own development and manufacture. The system weighs no more than 20 kg.
It is noted that "Veres-2" operates in the frequency ranges of 1160-1280 MHz; 1560-1630 MHz; 2400-2500 MHz, 5160-5280 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz. This allows it to overlap the frequencies of radio navigation systems such as GPS, Galileo, Glonass and BeiDou.
It is also capable of jamming control and video channels for drones operating at 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. However, the system will not be able to jam "low-frequency" FPVs operating at frequencies up to 1160 Hz.
The "Veres-2" remote control allows you to select operating ranges, power, signal polarization, and turn the device on and off remotely.
The electronic warfare station has a battery that lasts up to 60 minutes, and it operates continuously from the mains.
It was previously reported that Charter will receive new PER complexes for UAH 2 million from Intellias. These are five complexes that will allow for electronic reconnaissance to determine enemy positions.
