Aircraft-type drones are now available on the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace and are already available for order by military units, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.
According to him, most of the models are reconnaissance drones. They are designed for long flights and are capable of performing a wide range of tasks.
"The range includes 12 models from 8 Ukrainian manufacturers. The Defense Procurement Agency has contracted these manufacturers to supply drones both from existing stock and by pre-order," the head of the defense department added.
He also noted that work is underway in the near future to scale the system and expand the line of available products: other types of drones, including NRCs, as well as electronic warfare/electronic warfare (EW) and missiles.
It was previously reported that during the month of operation of the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace, 5.6 thousand drones worth UAH 216 million were delivered.
