The Military Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine presented exclusive footage of a military intelligence special forces operation in the Black Sea, which took place in August 2025. The corresponding video was published on the Military Intelligence Directorate's YouTube channel.
According to intelligence, during the operation, special forces went to sea and successfully attacked Russian army targets. As a result of the raid using FPV drones and other combat drones, GUR fighters destroyed enemy BL-680 boats, Harpoon-B radar, and Groza electronic warfare system.
"In addition, the masters of the active operations units burned four enemy antenna-feeder devices and caused losses among the Russian invaders among personnel," the GUR added.
By the way, recently the special unit of the Military District of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine "Prymary" hunted down Russian military equipment - two Mi-8s and a ship – in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the GUR, the estimated cost of the disabled helicopters is $20-30 million. As for the tugboat, it is part of the so-called "PDSS" (underwater sabotage forces and means).
Before that, the "Ghost" unit carried out another attack on Russian air defense facilities in Crimea, during which five technical targets were hit: the "Utyos-T" radar; the RT-70 radio telescope; the "GLONASS" complex in the dome; the MR-10M1 "Mys" M1 radar; the 96L6-AP radar from the S-400 air defense system.
