Unusual mission: Khartiia evacuates cat from frontline with ground drone

Servicemen of the operational company of the Khartiia brigade conducted a successful mission to evacuate a cat from positions using a ground robotic complex. The incident occurred in the Kharkiv direction, the brigade reported.

"For a long time, the cat was with the "Khartiia" soldiers in positions near the line of combat contact north of Kharkiv and shared with them everyday life and the difficult realities of war. He became a true comrade for the soldiers, received the nickname "Flag" and, according to the servicemen, is quite worthy of the status of a participant in the hostilities," the "Khartiia" report says.

The "Khartiians" decided that it was time to return "Flag" to his usual feline life - they used a ground drone for this. First, the GRC performed a logistical mission, delivering everything necessary to the positions. After that, it left for the company's permanent deployment point - with a carrier in which the cat was.

"The evacuation mission lasted three hours. "Flag" was brought to the final destination safe and sound. He is now in the company's location and is gradually adapting to the new stage of his life," the Khartiia added.

Earlier, the Zmiy-500 ground drone of the Charter brigade rescued a wounded soldier, covering a 34 km route. The 118th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also showed how a soldier was rescued using a ground robotic complex.
