Today, September 21, 2025, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported on a strike operation by the "Prymary" special unit on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the GUR, three multi-purpose Mi-8 helicopters in service with the Russian forces were destroyed during the raid. The Russian radar station "55Zh6U Nebo-U", designed to detect air targets, was also eliminated.
At the end of the video, the agency released a photo of the wreckage of one of the destroyed helicopters.
For reference, the price of one Mi-8 helicopter is $8–15 million, depending on the modification, while the 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar station is estimated at approximately $100 million.
It was previously reported that special forces of the GUR of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region destroyed a 9K317M "Buk-M3" anti-aircraft missile system of the Russian troops, the price of which is from $40 to $50 million.
