During the 23rd International Maritime and Military Exhibition BALTEXPO 2025 in Gdansk, the Swedish company Saab presented the Skeldar V-200 multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle platform. This is reported by zbiam.pl.
The drone is already in production for customers in Europe, North America and Asia, and is also being tested by the Spanish Navy.
According to the publication, the Skeldar V-200 can be used both at sea and on land. The drone has a maximum take-off weight of 245 kg and a payload of 40 kg, which allows it to transport various equipment.
The rotor diameter is 4.6 meters, and the fuselage is 4 meters long, 1.2 meters wide, and 1.3 meters high. According to the manufacturer, preparing the platform for flight takes up to 15 minutes. The flight duration is approximately 6 hours.
It is noted that the UAV can fly up to 100 km at a speed of up to 140 km/h.
