The Defense Procurement Agency has already contracted about 8,000 ground robotic complexes in 2025. This was stated by Serhiy Prolubshchikov, head of the ground equipment office of AOZ, during a briefing, writes Militarnyi.
"If last year we delivered about 600 ground robotic complexes, this year we have already contracted about 8,000. And this work continues," he said.
According to Serhiy Prolubshchikov, currently, AOZ working groups travel to private enterprises with which contracts are concluded. They are engaged in checking technological processes, the quality of manufactured and delivered products, production capacity, etc.
"Now we have focused our work on small private enterprises, because they are not studied, they are going down this path for the first time, and they need help," explained the head of the agency's ground equipment office.
He noted that the main focus is on cooperation with private companies that are being contracted by the state for the first time, as their number has increased significantly.
Recall that the Ministry of Defense recently showed the Droid TW ground robotic complex, which provides fire support to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Its main difference from many other platforms is that the complex was immediately designed and created to perform reconnaissance and strike missions.
