The Ministry of Defence codified new Ukrainian boats - they have already been tested in real conditions

The Ministry of Defence has codified and approved for operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine several models of specialized boats of Ukrainian production. This was reported by the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.

"These boats can carry out a variety of missions in diverse environments, including open seas, river mouths, large lakes, and similar settings. The design features of these Ukrainian boats enable their use in hard-to-reach areas such as marshes, rocky waters, and silted bodies of water," the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

The boats have increased resistance to moderate water surface turbulence, significant load capacity, and small draft.

Depending on the tasks, the vessels can be equipped with a bow turret, electronic warfare systems, echo sounders, carriages, mobile soft fuel tanks, and other specialized equipment adapted to the conditions of modern combat.

The Ministry of Defence noted that these boats have already been tested in real conditions.

It was also recently reported that the Aquaspirit company will strengthen the Ukrainian military with combat boats. Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already actively using its developments.
